Can learners change their preferences?
Learners can individually configure their own forum preferences, including email notifications and forum tracking.
As the user they will need to follow the steps below:

Go to the User menu and select the Preferences page

User account section click on the Forum preferences link

Here they can change all their preferences

Once they are happy they can save their changes.
